What Is Walpier Rocky Leather?

Walpier Rocky is a full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather produced by Conceria Walpier, a respected tannery based in Tuscany, Italy.

Rocky is made from French bull hides and is produced as a substantial, heavyweight leather. Compared with Walpier's popular Buttero leather, Rocky is designed as a heavier option, making it particularly well suited to applications where a thicker and more robust leather is required.

The leather has a firm, structured feel and a relatively smooth surface, while retaining the natural character of full-grain leather. The reverse side features a resin finish, giving the flesh side a clean and tightly finished appearance.
