CS Osborne Sloyd Knife
CS Osborne Sloyd Knife No. 6 with steel blade with a solid lacquered hardwood handle. The blades are drop forged from high quality hot-forged carbon steel, carefully hand ground, tempered and highly polished.
This premium blade is a very useful tool to have in your workshop for whittling, woodworking and detail carving projects, as a carving knife, blade knife, for shoe making and many other uses. When properly cared for, these are tools that will last for generations.
A sloyd knife is a versatile carving tool with a short, thick, pointed blade, ideal for both detail and rough shaping projects like carving and whittling. The blade's design allows for precise cuts, from fine details like facial features to larger, rolled slicing cuts for hollow areas, making it a fundamental tool in the tradition of Swedish crafts, or "sloyd".
