How to Use

For use with a leather strop:

Prep the bar: Warm the green compound block slightly with a hairdryer or heat gun so it softens up.

Crayon method: Rub the block lightly across the leather surface.

Less is more: Apply just enough to leave a light green tint. A heavy, caked-on layer will chunk off and round your knife edge.

Work it in: Rub the compound directly into the leather using your bare fingers. The friction of your hand creates heat and melts the wax binder so it bonds well.

Clean excess: Buff the surface lightly with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel to remove loose residue.
