The Japanese Style Leather Mallet by Ivan Leathercraft, made from solid and durable Beech wood, for tasks such as hammering punch holes in leathercraft projects.
The mallet measures 28 cm length.
A Japanese mallet (often a wooden kakeya or specialised leatherworking mallet) is used in leatherwork to provide a controlled, consistent strike on tools - such as stitching chisels, hole punches and stamps - without damaging them.
